Following are the Falah consortium partners in the project: |

|
Population Council |
|
|
|
The Population Council was the lead partner for the project and was responsible for the overall planning, management, coordination,
monitoring and evaluation of project activities at the national level and between
the provinces in addition to implementing selected activities jointly with other
FALAH partners. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Furthermore,
Population Council was responsible
for the design and development of
behavior change communication strategy
and campaign for demand creation, as
well as for the development of IEC materials for social mobilization.
In addition, Population Council was provide
technical support to market commercial
sector contraceptive brands. Population Council in close collaboration with JHPIEGO
also provided technical support to strengthen access to quality FP services
by both MOPW and MOH. |

Greenstar Social Marketing |
|
|
|
Greenstar Social Marketing was established as Social Marketing Pakistan in 1991
as a non- profit company.Greenstar is a non-governmental organization working in the health sector and is a major partner of the Government of Pakistan, providing
high-quality access to health care to low income people.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Greenstar was responsible for social marketing and expanding the role of private-sector
services in the FALAH districts as well as at the national level (except NWFP) considering
that their operations are largely national in nature. |
|
|
|
HANDS
|
|
|
|
HANDS is a registered Not for Profit Organization working since 1979 in public and
private social sectors to promote health, education and alleviate poverty in marginalized
communities. HANDS is benefiting more than 9.0 million population of nearly 7000
villages of 15 districts of Sindh and one district of Balochistan. HANDS is certified
by the Pakistan Center of Philanthropy (PCP) and Institutional Management Certification
Program (IMCP) by USAID for management standards. HANDS also has a doner status.

HANDS assumed responsibility for the province of Sindh for the planning and implementation
of district-level activities associated with the four project results in four districts
of Sindh (Dadu, Sukkur, Thatta and Sanghar) as well as the over
all coordination at the provincial level. |

Jhpiego |
|
|
|
Jhpiego is an international non-profit health organization
affiliated with Johns Hopkins University. For 35 years, Jhpiego has empowered front-line
health workers by designing and implementing effective, low-cost, hands-on solutions
to strengthen the delivery of health care services for women and their families.
By putting evidence-based health innovations into everyday practice, Jhpiego works
to break down barriers to high-quality health care for the world’s most vulnerable
populations. |

JHPIEGO was responsible for the development of standards, curricula and
support materials for capacity building and quality assurance for skill development
as well as master training activities along with Population Council. |
|
|
|
|
|
RSPN |
|
|
|
The RSP Network (RSPN)was registered in 2001 under Pakistan’s Companies Ordinance
(1984) as a non-profit company by the Rural Support Programmes (RSPs) of Pakistan.
RSPN is a network of Nine RSPs. The RSPs involve poor communities (mainly but not
exclusively rural) in improved management and delivery of basic services through
a process of social mobilization. RSPN is a strategic platform for the RSPs, it
provides capacity building support to them and assists them in policy advocacy and
donor linkages. Currently the RSPs have a presence in 94 of the country’s 138 districts
and 2 Fata Agencies. |

RSPN was responsible for undertaking community mobilization through its existing
network of community organizations in the four provinces. |
|
|
|
Save the Children
|
|
|
|
Save the Children is an independent organization creating real and lasting
change for children in need in the United States and around the world. It is a member
of the International Save the Children Alliance, comprising 27 national Save the
Children organizations working in more than 100 countries to ensure the well-being
of children.

|
|
|
|
|
Save the Children’s responsibility was planning and implementation of district-level
activities in Punjab,
and NWFP. It also undertook the provincial responsibility for
Punjab and NWFP. |
|
|
|
ZAFA & UDL |
|
|
|
ZAFA and United Distributors Ltd. (UDL) were responsible for expanding distribution
and growing the sales of their full priced contraceptive brands to reduce overall
program dependency on donors for future commodity assistance. |
